*Srinagar, J&K:- The 8th International Day Against Drug Abuse was observed with great fervor at the Vitasta School of Law in Nowgam, Srinagar. The event was organized by Helping Hands Jammu and Kashmir, under the leadership of CEO Mr. Aaqib Parray, in collaboration with the Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (IMHANS), Government Medical College, Srinagar.The event featured a host of distinguished guest speakers who addressed the audience on the pressing issue of drug abuse, its causes, and its far-reaching consequences. Notable among the speakers were Dr. Ajaz Ah Suhaff, a consultant psychiatrist from IMHANS; Miss Azra Mufti, a writer; Qazi Imran Sahab, Sheikh ul Hadees from Darul Uloom Bilaliya; RJ Vijdhan, a radio jockey from Radio Mirchi; and Sheikh Imran, Editor in Chief of The Voice Kashmir. Each speaker brought their unique perspective and expertise to the table, providing valuable insights into the devastating impact of drug abuse on both the body and mind.The speakers collectively emphasized the urgent need for unified action and cooperation to combat the menace of drug abuse.
