Prominent social and welfare worker and youth leader from Charar Sharif, Advocate Owais Ashraf, led a joint public delegation from Charar Sharif and Pakharpura. The delegation met with Secretary Health, Mr. Abid Rasheed Shah, to discuss the various basic demands faced in the hospitals. They appealed for a review of the functioning of all institutions related to the health department and the medical facilities available for the general patient.
During the meeting, the Secretary assured that all related demands would be addressed and the remaining problems resolved within the next week, God willing. The discussions covered various issues concerning Charar-i-Sharif Hospital, Nagam SDG, Pakharpora, and CHC Nagbal.
The delegation highlighted the need for better infrastructure, availability of essential medicines, and improved staffing at these healthcare facilities. Advocate Owais Ashraf emphasized the importance of timely medical services and the need for regular monitoring to ensure the quality of healthcare provided to the residents.
Secretary Health Mr. Abid Rasheed Shah acknowledged the concerns and reiterated the government’s commitment to enhancing the healthcare system in the region. He promised that a dedicated team would be deployed to assess the current situation and implement necessary improvements promptly.
